The Bitterroot Valley
Marion is a small community nestled between the Bitterroot Mountains and the Bitterroot River. The valley is known for its clear skies, four distinct seasons, and a pace of life that rewards those who take it slowly. Nearby you'll find hiking trails, historic mining towns, and some of the finest fly-fishing in the state.

Cabins

Everything at the camp is oriented toward the lake and the surrounding forest. There are no televisions in the cabins, no Wi-Fi to check — just you, the water, and the time to do what you actually came here for.

Bitterroot Lake is a 1,500-acre body of water surrounded by national forest. From here, the options are simple and they're all outdoors.
Fishing
Trout fishing is excellent on Bitterroot Lake. Bring your gear or rent locally — the lake is stocked and productive through the season.
Swimming
The shoreline near camp is shallow and calm in summer — ideal for swimming, wading, and cooling off after a long hike.
Hiking & Biking
Trails radiate from the Bitterroot Valley into the surrounding mountains. Forest Service trails offer everything from easy lakeside walks to full-day ridge scrambles.
Wildlife
Mule deer, elk, eagles, and osprey are regular visitors. Bring binoculars and keep your voice down in the mornings.
